"dose" rather than "data containing contamination
levels"?
The
answer is because contamination levels are so high and contamination
is increasingly found to be ubiquitous.

is reporting today that plant emissions of radiation have dropped
to 100 million becquerels per hour. The government is also considering
revising the evacuation status because the plant will be in
cold shutdown 1 month sooner than anticipated.

Chris Busby stated that plant emissions were reported to the
Japanese Prime Minister by Tepco to be 10 to the 13 becquerels
per hour.[i]
Likewise,
during an interview with Dr. Helen Caldicott, broadcasted online
in September of 2011, Arnie Gunderson stated that he had been
told that Fukushima was currently emitting a gigabecquerel per
day (gigabecquerel or GBq 109 Bq), in radiation, which he described
as over 2 billion decays per second a day.[ii]

What
the hell is going on with this reactor? What is the government
doing? What are the US, Canada, China, Russia, France, etc doing
to help Japan control this situation?

PUBLIC DESERVES TO KNOW.
The
People of Japan need to demand that their national government
be responsible for all clean up, not just clean up in the exclusion
zones.
The
people of Japan need their government to set up national testing
of food and beverages NOW.
The
people of Japan need to demand that their level of exposure
be brought down from the dangerous level of 20 millisieverts
a year.
The
people of Japan need to demand that children's schools and parks
be tested and de-contaminated.
The
children of Japan must not live in fear and their parents must
be provided real guarantees and delivery of safety.
PLEASE
ADD ADDITIONAL DEMANDS!
And
the people of the other countries affected by this disaster
(most of the northern hemisphere I presume) should be asking
their governments many of the same questions while making many
of the same demands.

Confirms Steam Leaking Out Of Ground, simplyinfo.org
TEPCO
has admitted to the issue of steam leaking out of the ground
around Unit 1. Water in the basement of the building was cited
as the source of the steam. Extremely high radiation levels
were also reported including a 5 sV reading on the 2nd floor
of unit 1 in August. Readings over 4 sV were also found at unit
1 previously. There has been considerable speculation that the
melted fuel has escaped the containment structure. These concerns
have been backed up by various high radiation readings in the
suppression chamber of unit 1. These readings also spike after
each earthquake at the plant.

Oct. 20 — Greenpeace said 34 of 60 seafood samples bought
from at least several different stores in eastern Japan had
radioactive cesium-134 and -137, reports the AFP.
The
group also noted that the Japanese standard for cesium in food
of 500 becquerel per kilogram compares with a 150 becquerel
per kilogram limit in Ukraine after Chernobyl.
